Completed Access to Information requests

Government of Canada institutions subject to the Access to Information Act (ATIA) are required to post summaries of processed ATI requests on the Open Canada website.

You can search for Citizenship and Immigration Canada’s summaries, which are available within 30 calendar days after the end of the month, on the “Completed Access to Information Requests” webpage.

The list does not include all requests. We did not include any that:

  • focused on personal information, or
  • focused on third-party proprietary information.

If you find a summary of interest, you can request a copy of the records previously released at no cost.

We will give you the records under the ATIA. They:

  • will be in the same format and language in which we released them, and
  • will not include any items that were exempted or excluded when we released the records.

For additional information, please see the “About Access to Information Requests” webpage.
